PLATFORM ENGINEER (f/m/d)
Your tasks
- Design, implement, and maintain automation tools, processes, and infrastructure to enable application development
- Develop automated tools and scripts to support repeatable processes such as deployment, testing, monitoring, and scaling, optimizing developer productivity
- Improve and maintain our CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration and deployment of code up to production
- Build and enhance monitoring systems to provide developers with continuous insights into application performance and system reliability
- Analyze data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to boost developer efficiency
- Collaborate closely with developers and quality assurance teams to improve workflows and system performance
- Actively contribute to the architecture and development of the infrastructure to deliver complex software products to our customers
- Become a valued member of a team of dedicated software developers in a company known for its supportive and friendly working environment
The job ist perfect for you, if you bring the following:
- Solid IT knowledge (HTL, FH, University)
- Several years of professional experience in platform engineering, cloud engineering, SRE, DevOps, system operations/administration, software engineering, or similar
- Good written and spoken German and English (B2)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, …)
- Experience with build and deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins, Gradle, Fastlane, …)
- Experience with the architecture, maintenance, and operation of container and cloud technologies (e.g. Docker and Kubernetes)
- Experience in maintaining, deploying and monitoring web services and database systems
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Shell, Python, Ruby, …)
- Interest in current trends and long-term, continuous development of sustainable products
- Strong team collaboration skills, willingness to develop, sense of responsibility and ownership
- Commitment to quality and accuracy in your work
Ideally, you also have:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with the operation of Java services
- Willingness for occasional on-call duty for level 2 support (extra compensation)
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and configuration management tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK-Stack, Ansible)
- Experience with Azure or other cloud providers
- Residence in Vienna or nearby

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 3,455 gross per month for 38.5 hours. The actual salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
